IBAN Payments 

  • Are there any fees or delays?

    No, there are no fees or delays due to bank processes.

  • What if the payment doesn’t reflect?

    If your bank details are correct, payments won’t bounce. Otherwise, contact the Nafis Call Center — the payment will be reprocessed next month.

  • How to update bank details?

    Update your IBAN before the 15th to apply in the same month; changes after that take effect the following month.

  • Can I keep my card after updating my IBAN?

    Yes, you can keep your card and still update your IBAN.

  • How to cancel a card or manage funds?

    You can transfer or withdraw funds anytime. For cancellation, contact your bank directly.

 

Payment Gateway

  • What is the purpose of launching the payment gateway?

    Providing a secure, transparent, and convenient electronic channel for beneficiaries to pay penalties related to violations of the Cabinet's decision regarding the NAFIS program, including penalties for fictitious localization and other penalties, while improving the efficiency of collection and tracking of due penalties.

  • What are the penalties or financial obligations, the amounts due that are paid through payment gateway portal? 

    Penalties are the Nafis support amounts that were paid to beneficiaries of Nafis programs in the event that any of them commit a violation of the violations stipulated in the Cabinet Resolution concerning violations and penalties. They also include amounts paid to them without justification according to the inspection reports conducted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratizations. For example, if a violation of fictitious Emiratizations is proven, the establishment is obliged, on behalf of the beneficiary, to return the benefits received from the Nafis program. (These penalties also include, but in the future stage, recovering the value of tuition or training fees and rewards in the case of withdrawal from educational or training programs, or providing incorrect data, etc.)

  • Is payment gateway portal used to pay the subscription amount for violators of the localization policy 2%?

    The payment gateway is dedicated to fines resulting from committing any of the violations stipulated in the Nafis Program, while the amounts due from establishments for violating localization ratios and targets are paid through the systems of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratizations.

  • Can I pay my fine anytime?

    Yes. The payment service is available 24/7 through the Nafis Platform.  Any time, including weekends and public holidays.

  • What payment methods can I use?

    Online payments can be made using bank-issued debit or credit cards (Visa and Mastercard)

  • Is this new payment gateway safe to use?

    Highly secured. Yes. The payment gateway uses advanced encryption and complies with international payment security standards (such as PCI-DSS). Your card details are securely processed and are not stored on the Nafis platform.

  • Will I be charged any additional fees for paying online?

    Yes. A service fee of 0.75% of the transaction amount will be applied to cover payment processing costs. Applicable VAT will also be added to the service fee. The total payable amount, including the service fee and VAT, will be clearly displayed before you confirm the payment.

  • How do I know my payment was successful?

Once your payment is successfully completed:

  1. A confirmation message will appear on the screen.
  2. A digital receipt will be generated instantly.
  3. You may also receive an SMS or email confirmation (if registered in your bank).
  4. You can download and save the receipt for your records.
  • What should I do if the payment fails?
  • If the payment fails:
  1. First, check with your bank to ensure a sufficient balance and no transaction restrictions.
  2. Try again after a few minutes.
  3. If the amount was deducted but no confirmation was received, contact the Nafis Call Center with your transaction reference number.
  • What if the amount was deducted from my account, but the fine is still showing as unpaid?

    In rare cases, bank settlement may take some time. Please wait up to 24 hours. If the fine still appears unpaid after this period, contact the Nafis Call Center and provide your transaction details for investigation.

  • Can someone else pay the fine on my behalf?

    No. Access to the fines must be done through your own UAE Pass login to ensure proper identification and security. However, once logged in, you may use any valid bank card (even if it belongs to another person) to complete the payment.

  • How long does it take to update the status of penalties after payment?

    The status of penalties is usually updated immediately after the payment process is successful. In some cases, it may take a few hours, depending on system synchronization.

  • Can I access the payment gateway from my mobile phone? 

    The platform is compatible with mobile devices and can be accessed from smartphones, tablets, or desktop computers.

  • Can I schedule installment payments?

    Installment options are available under certain terms and conditions and depend on internal policies. They will be clearly displayed on your account dashboard.

  • Will I receive reminders about the due penalties? 

    Yes. Periodic reminders will be sent through the channels registered in your account on the Naves platform, such as text messages or email, to notify you of the due penalties and payment dates. It is recommended to ensure that your contact information is updated to guarantee receipt of the notifications.

  • What happens if I don't pay the penalties?

    The benefit remains suspended, and you cannot take advantage of any NAFIS programs until you start paying the penalties.

  • Is the payment gateway available in multiple languages?

    Yes. The platform is available in both Arabic and English to ensure ease of access for all beneficiaries.
