Emirati Salary Support Scheme
Program Description
The Emirati Salary Support Scheme provides financial support to UAE nationals employed in the private sector. The support amount is based on the beneficiary’s monthly salary and educational qualification, helping to promote job stability and encourage UAE nationals to build long-term careers in the private sector.

Eligibility Criteria
To benefit from the Salary Support Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a UAE national working for one of the eligible organizations.
- Hold a valid work permit issued by the Ministry (for Emirati citizens employed by establishments regulated by the Ministry) or by the relevant regulatory authority.
- Have a valid employment contract approved by the relevant regulatory authority.
- Receive salary payments through the Wage Protection System or another salary payment system approved by the relevant authority in the UAE.
- Do not own any shares in the company where they work or are training.
- If employed under more than one employment contract or work arrangement, salary support can only be claimed for one of them.
- Cannot hold positions in both the public and private sectors simultaneously under any work arrangement.
- Registered with the General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) or one of the UAE's pension and social security funds.
- If pension fund contributions stop being paid, or if the salary is not received for two months, a two-month warning period shall be granted to regularise the situation, during which the benefit payment will be suspended. After the warning period ends, the benefit will be paid retroactively if the situation is regularised; otherwise, the entitlement will be rejected.
