Leadership Program

Nafis Leadership Program Goals: 
Alignment with the National Agenda:

  •  UAE Centennial 2071 focusing on outstanding education and the National Employment Strategy 2031, which aims to attract and qualify the National Human Capital and enable their participation in the labor market.
  • Enhance the competitiveness of Emirati talent and enable them to occupy jobs in the private sector, through: 

                  1- Developing leadership and management skills.

                  2- Communication and Relationship Building.

                  3- Enhance efficiency and productivity.


Outcomes of the Nafis Leadership Program:

  • Preparing a leadership generation in the private sector
  • Enhancing the competitiveness of Emirati cadres in the private sector
  • Personal and professional growth
  • Enhancing the attractiveness of the private sector

Program Content:
Executive education in the classroom:

  • Technology and artificial intelligence
  • Mastering Negotiation & Influence
  • Advanced communication skills and dealing with the media
  • Leading Organizational Change 
  • Directions of the United Arab Emirates government

 

International study trip

  • Leadership skills and influence
  • The opportunity to meet national and foreign leaders internationally 

Local field visits: Field visits to institutions with outstanding practices in the private and government sectors.

Transformational Project 
(Graduation Project): Group/individual graduation projects where the teams work to solve a challenge that will be presented to a high-level committee. Topics will be selected in coordination with the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council.
Leadership talks: Lectures by influential leaders in the government and private sectors

Nomination Criteria and Conditions of Participation:
Participation Conditions:

  • Emirati Nationals 
  • Employees of the following Sectors:
  • Private sector employees with work permits from MOHRE
  • Banking, Insurance and Financial Services
  • Minimum age of participant is 25
  • Higher Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of experience in managing teams in the private sector
  • Completion of the mandatory National Service program
  • Communication skills in Arabic & English
  • Ambition, passion and innovation


Selection Criteria:

  • Meeting the conditions of participation
  • Result of the virtual assessment is no less than 60%
  • Result of the physical assessment is no less than 3.5
